Volunteering at Helen’s Hope Chest

Helen’s Hope Chest depends on the time donated by volunteers to provide services to foster families. If you are interested in serving at Helen’s Hope Chest, please submit the volunteer application form below and a member of our staff will be in touch shortly.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with:

  • Taking in donations

  • Processing donations

  • Sorting clothing

  • Putting clothing into the boutique

  • Helping families shop

    PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers should be capable of standing for 2 hours and lifting up to 20 pounds. Volunteers generally work 4 hour shifts.

Helen’s Hope Chest wouldn’t be what it is today without its volunteers!

Volunteers in 2024 donated over 5000 hours, they have also washed, dried, sorted, and put away over 5,000 loads of laundry! Every used item donated gets washed to make sure it looks and smells like new for our clients!

Volunteers sorted and organized over 9,000 books in 2024!

Volunteers assisted more than 2,000 kids at the Jakelle’s Christmas Box!
